Jodi Sampson is a proud Gomeroi man from Moree (North-West NSW) now living on the Gold Coast/Tweed region.

Having cultural integrity and a deep respect for the oldest living and recorded cultures in the world today, Jodi brings a “shared vision” to his work and has the unique ability to assist and support clients and Community in ‘connecting the dots’.

Jodi has 35+ years’ experience engaging and nurturing relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities by providing people and cultural leadership, coaching, mentoring, employment, education, training, community, and economic development.  He prides himself on role modelling the cultural values of his family and ancestors.

Prior to joining Corporate Culcha, Jodi held numerous specialised Aboriginal roles with three levels of Government in NSW and QLD. 

Jodi experience supports him to deliver multi-dimensional services as part of the Corporate Culcha team, including but not limited to:

  • Aboriginal cultural awareness and cultural safety to break-down the barriers and stereotypes that impedes First Nation Australians in gaining access and equity to employment opportunities.

  • Aboriginal Mental Health First Aid, and other Cultural, Social and Emotional Wellbeing workshops.

  • Leadership to grow our next generation, strengthen our current leaders and support clients to grow in this space. 

  • 7 Steps to Business Success to support young First Nations businesses prepare for supply chains opportunities.

  • Mentoring First Nations workforce for retention and professional development.

  • Coaching clients to operate consciously and effectively in their efforts to build Indigenous engagement, employment, retention and overall participation.

Jodi’s vision is to bring together business, community and Government to address the high disadvantage needs of Australia’s First Nation Peoples.
